Ingredients for Cream Cheese Wontons

Wonton Wrappers - These are found in the produce section near the tofu and make a tasty cup to hold the cream cheese filling.

Oil - You can use olive oil or avocado cooking spray for spraying wonton wrappers to help them get a crunchy texture and golden-brown color.

Cream cheese - The main star of this recipe and is used to make the filling of these wontons. You can also use low-fat cream cheese Neufchâtel varieties.

Chives - Adds a nice pop of green and tasty flavor to the wontons. You can also use green onion if you cannot find chives.

Worcestershire sauce - Adds a delicious savory flavor to the cream cheese.

Spices - Garlic powder, and onion powder add extra flavor.

Sugar - Adds a nice sweetness to the filling that makes it slightly sweet and enhances the savory flavors.

Sauce - Asian red chili sauce for dipping is a must for this recipe!
